Alpha Phi Emerging Leaders Institute Brings Phis Together

Our Director of Administration, Clare Hanks, attended the 3rd session of the Emerging Leaders Institute 2014. During this session, there were 50 girls from different Alpha Phi chapters from the US and Canada living in the Alpha Phi house at Butler University in Indiana.

"It was absolutely one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Even though we all came from miles away, we all bonded so quickly. I know that the friendships I made will last and the knowledge I gained will definitely help me in the future," Hanks said.

During the session, they learned a lot about Alpha Phi's history and leadership skills. They also did a lot of team building activities such as a high ropes course.

"None of us knew each other when we came, but by the time we left I felt like I had known all 50 of them for my entire life," Hanks said.

ELI is just one example of how sisterhood extends beyond your own chapter. No matter what school someone attends or attended, being sisters brings people together.
